The construction works of Dhaka Elevated Expressway will be completed within the running year, said Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Tuesday.

"50 per cent of its works have already been finished. Vehicular movement from Airport to Farmgate has started. The rest of the works till Chattogram's highway's Kutubkhali will be ended in 2024."

The minister came up with the information at a press conference in the capital today.

"Taka 2 crore toll is being collected on Padma bridge and vehicles have collected Tk 1252 crore toll. Hope that, the work of BRTA project in Gazipur will be completed by June this year.
